This is the third life jacket we've tried and it’s by far the best. The straps are thick and the velcro is incredibly strong. My golden retriever seems comfortable running around in it on land too. The neck float is a game changer for nervous swimmers like mine.

The quality of the material is excellent and the rescue handle feels very secure. However, I found that the sizing runs a bit small. I had to exchange the medium for a large for my beagle. Once we got the right size, it performed beautifully during our beach trip.

I was worried about my bulldog sinking because they aren't natural swimmers, but this vest works wonders. It fits her stocky frame perfectly. The bright color makes her easy to spot in the waves. I love the extra support around the neck area for her heavy head.

We took our lab to the lake last weekend and this jacket was a lifesaver. The detachable neck float kept his head well above water, even when he got tired. The handle is sturdy enough to lift him back onto the boat easily. Definitely worth every penny for peace of mind.

It provides great flotation, but it is a bit bulkier than I expected. My dog took a little while to get used to the neck piece. It’s definitely safe, but maybe a bit much for just a quick dip in a shallow pool. Great for deep water though.
